I'm writing you to catch you up on places I've been. You held this letter, probably got excited, but there's nothing else inside it. I didn't have a camera by my side this time. Was hopin I would see the world through both my eyes. Maybe I will tell you all about it when I'm in the mood to lose my way with words. - Mayer
What can I say but that this has been quite an eventful week? It began with my five-to-one ratio further embedding itself into my semester. It continued with a couple of interesting chapel services (yay for singers! grrrrr for 'career day') and a series of possibly unrelated cry-inducing incidents. It's ending well, though, with God answering bunches and bunches of prayers I had almost forgotten all at once. I am growing to trust more that God has no intention of ever allowing me to fall into any more unfortunate circumstances than He has equipped me to handle with His (and other friends') help.
There is a lot going on that I won't begin to share here (it isn't the most appropriate of forums for that sort of thing...), and yet I can't help resting easily with the knowledge that the God I serve is mighty to save. He will take great delight in me.He will quite me with HIs love;He will rejoice over me with singing...He will gather me; He will bring me home. He will give me honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when He restores my fortunes before my very eyes. (Zephaniah 3:17-20)
You should have seen that sunrise with your own eyes. It brought me back to life. You'll be with me next time I go outside, just no more three-by-fives.
