Okay.
I am sure all of you have been wondering where on Earth I disappeared to. Now, I will satisfy your curiousity.
I went to England to meet my fiance's family. Andrew and I spent ten days overseas.
First, we did a bit of touristing in London, and our first day there was the hottest day EVER. We went to Westminster Abbey, Covent Garden, Trafalger Square, The Tower of London, took pics of the Houses of Parliament and the tower-type thing that houses Big Ben, though I am pretty sure we did not see the bell itself.
We also spent an evening with Andrew's uncle, Simon, and his family. It was much fun, since Simon's kids are six and eight and very cute.
Next, we returned to Andrew's parents' home, to spend the rest of our time in England with them and Andrew's three younger brothers. During the time we stayed there, we also got to attend the wedding of a cousin and Andrew's parents' 25th anniversary party.
At the end of the trip, I found myself wishing we'd had a bit more time to stay, but happy that we'd both gotten to visit his family before our wedding in December.
Anyhoo, I am back home and kicking it into high wedding planning gear. In fact, I am so far into "high gear" that I am already beginning to wish the wedding was just over already so that we can begin our lives together.
I guess that's all for now. Peace out. - me
