There are two problems with the public education system:

1. The students have too many #&*@! rights and know it.

2. Teachers have no rights - and they know it - and many leave before having completed 5 consecutive years of teaching.

The only solutions anyone ever tries to fix things is throwing money at it too.

Yeah, and look at the good that's done us. The money isn't even used for the right reasons (smaller classes, more teachers, etc.). It's used for athletics, which have their place, but they shouldn't take precedence over academics.
