...first year teachers really don't have a whole lot of time to blog. I feel like I'm letting down those whom I would like to inform. Let me catch you up on a few things:
1. A student yelled at me yesterday. (That was awesome. I made sure to tell him that his behavior was not Christlike, as he'd opened the door for me to say so long ago.)
2. I've been teaching The Tragedy of Julius Caesar for the last three-ish weeks. (not at all like pulling teeth)
3. I'm currently working on writing/compiling a final exam for my students.
4. I need to work two weeks ahead of my PACT coursework before I leave for England on June 2. (about six days after I get out of school)
5. I am in my abundant free time reading Artemis Fowl. (not bad so far) (I'm an English teacher, and I just split my verb. I hope they don't fire me...kinda...)
6. I don't have my new married-name passport yet, and I don't have any idea when it will arrive.
I'll try to post again soon when I get another chance to breathe.
