Hmm. The only thing I planned on doing today in place of any kind of memorial service was keep my opinion to myself. However, I would like to let all of you who may not know that you do not - under any circumstances - have to wear a flag on your shirt or car, release twenty gazillion balloons, or not wear a hat all day in order to express your own feelings of grief or anger or hurt or, dare I say it, patriotism. Should you choose to do any of these things as your own personal show of support, that is ALL good. But please, PLEASE don't look down on those of us who don't think that plastering the American flag all over our clothes should be the cutting edge of fashion. The end, for now...
