I just finished reading the first of the Harry Potter books. I had not read them before now because I hadn't been terribly interested and because I had not really had the time, what with being a full-time college student, part-time student worker, getting married, etc...
The last few years have been rather busy for me. Anyhow, I am taking this summer to soak up all the books I can, including the ones I will be teaching in the fall (eventually...). I decided to go ahead and read these books so I can form an educated opinion about them and so that I can watch the movies (The newest one looks so good in the trailers...). So I've read the first, and the others will probably follow in the next week. Once I've read them all, I'll probably post my verdict here, so stay tuned, folks...
