Tired and Rambling

I am.

Bible study was good tonight. The pace was steady, hardly any lulls, and I felt like everyone who spoke gave me something to think about. I'm glad for the Dr. Graff/ Tamryn idea to approach the book of John as a nonbeliever who doesn't know the Bible or Christianity. It was much more eye-opening and less floundering than I expected.

Also, Pat Robertson should not pretend to know the mind of the Lord: i.e. why He would decide to allow such devastation to fall upon Haiti. Nobody asked Pat, and he's making the rest of us look bad (again). While I'm on the subject, can we please stop giving stupidity publicity? Does Pat deserve to have his venom broadcast so widely when we sane folk already know he's crazy? Do we really care about or need to glamorize Heidi Montag Pratt's ten-at-one-time plastic surgeries? Can we give air time to positivity instead of - um - not?
