Random things that make me feel relieved...

* Being able to discern my son's barbaric yawp from those of the other kids at the playground
* Seeing a baby in an advertisement that I think looks remarkably like my boys, only to click, see a larger image, and realize my kids are cuter (evil, I know)
* Realizing the squishy, wet, cool thing I stepped on with my bare feet was a Cheerio and not, um, "other"
* Hearing my sons' first noises of the day, alerting me to their awakeness (however early the hour, it means they're still here with me - and let's face it: some parents have children who unexpectedly don't wake up...)
* Simultaneous naps for two to three of the four of us that last two or more hours
* New clothes that fit my lifestyle, my budget, and my sense of fashion
* Manageable hair (a rare beast indeed)
* The comfort of calling my Mommy for help - and receiving it
* Receiving a call from Andrew that he's on his way home, especially at the end of a long day when I need a hug
* Having a husband who sees his exhausted, bandanna-and-pajama-clad wife and realizes it's go-out-to-dinner night, not tell-that-woman-to-take-a-shower night
* Having a voice in this world, thanks to this blog and your readership
* Having money to pay bills and buy groceries
* Sending a willing G to his room while his brother naps in a separate room so I can watch "The Cosby Show" in peace in still another room
* Zephaniah 3:17
* The lack of decent TV shows on during the summer that forces me to spend time doing something more productive than watching TV

I'm borrowing some of your sense of relief - because I need to. :)

I heart this list... especially "Having a husband who sees his exhausted, bandanna-and-pajama-clad wife and realizes it's go-out-to-dinner night, not tell-that-woman-to-take-a-shower night." That kind of husband's a keeper for sure. :)
