To the Tune of "American Pie"

A long, long time ago,

I can still remember how I used to sleep 'til 9.

And I know that if I had the chance,

I would do a happy dance, if maybe G and R would sleep past 7...

Well, I know that I'm in love with them.

We didn't have these children on a whim.

But man, I'd like to snooze,

during hours I could choose.

I am a tired mom

with a list of chores

but I'm blogging,

so I must not be too bored

People, I just want to sleep a little more,

today, when Rhysie naps...
