Let's Play a Game

I'm going to call it, "This May be Too Much Information, But..."

It's an "I remember" game. Here's mine: This may be too much information, but I remember vividly getting ready to push when it was time for Gabriel to arrive. I looked down toward my doctor and saw a logo on her goggles: Smith and Wessin. And even though in my be-epidural-ed state I suspected she only had them because the company probably made really steady goggles, I couldn't help imagining some kind of birth-related gore making use of the goggles' presence.

Good times.

This made me laugh! Cause girl the only thing I did in the middle of giving birth was ask for my lipstick...yep, they were about to wheel me in after 17.5 hours of labor for a c-sec and I wanted my lipstick!

Well, if we're doing birth-related anecdotes... When Sophie was delivered, I immediately forgot that I was on an operating table with my tummy cut open, and I tried sitting up to see her. You've never seen so many medical professionals jump at one time. :)
