So much about how I've seen and heard Christians address the subject of sexuality is concerned solely with having sex only between a husband and a wife - not before marriage, and not with anyone but your spouse after you're married. But sex is so much more than something we do with our bodies, and it seems silly to me to ignore the rest of the Bible's teachings on purity - or to emphasize sexual purity as if it's separate from the purity of our hearts.
So I'm blogging this to hold myself accountable for moving forward with this idea in some way, rather than let it be an idea I once had and forgot. If I'm able to do a decent job, I could have an excellent resource for tweens in my life. If I do an excellent job, I could be published.
Here's hoping that the "Pure" ideas I have now will be tangible by the year's end.

There is actually a book called "pure" by someone called Linda Marshall. Check it out - could be helpful. Look forward to reading more of your thoughts.
